[LRflex] Re: Leica R to EOS adaptors ... alternative brands.

Guys -

I haven't tried the Cameraquest adapter, but we have it on pretty good 
authority that it's probably the same as the Fotodiox.

Those of you who are getting instant, no fuss results with either one 
are probably using newer lenses.   (Unlike me, with my collection of 
spherical, 2-cam reflex lenses from the late 60's-early 70's.)  These 
older lenses apparently had a slightly wider space between the lobe & 
flange, plus they've had 30 years of wear on them to open up the space 
even more.

So, for a little more than a few dollars more, the one that has the 
most chance of "working perfectly" with any R lens is likely the 
Novoflex (which I haven't had any direct experience with either.)

The really amazing thing to me is that we continue to discuss this 
issue.
