Anyone unsatisfied with any aspect of Windows should *really*
give a Mac a try
Ok, try this for a reason to stay away. I work at a University Library. We
have something like sixty Windows machines, and two Macs. All of the
Windows hardware can be bought on State contract. There are no approved State
Contracts for the purchase of Mac.
All the software at education prices, Penny on the Dollar; All of the
software we need for our work is available in Windows. .
I have to support the machines. I have been working in a Windows
environment since there was Windows. I've sat at a mac maybe five times in my
life.
When the one person who insists on a Mac does team work with other staff,
she must work in windows to integrate the information properly.
Let's get back to cameras and forget this foolish mac-windoze stuff.

Sonny
