Ain't nessesarily so... the 90 'cron shows a LOT of field curvature with extension tubes, does MUCH better with an ELPRO.


Hmmm... the 90 'cron doesn't work worth a damn with a 2x converter either! Do they make a 2x Elpro for that?

I'd originally hoped to use the 2x with the 90/2 to replace my 180/4 but it simply was not possible. Results were absolutely terrible. Yet it's fine with the 80~200/f4 and, of course, the 400 Telyt. It even works OK with the 50 'cron. Don't know why the 90 doesn't like the extenders. ;-(
