[LRFlex] Re: Indication on the packs

I hope I won't sound repetitious, but I agree with Ted. The "automatic" exposure in both cameras is truly great. The meter in the M7 is occasionally "fooled" in those tricky contra jour situations, but simply point the meter at the ground ( or some other area approximating "grey" area), store by pressing down the exposure release, and there you go. With the R8/9 the situation with some tricky exposures is easily resolved by using automatic fill in flash. Turn the flash on, P mode ( or whatever ), matrix metering, compose, focus....and you have it. Rarely fails.

By becoming somewhat profiecent in this by guess exposure system you will become much better at interperating those tricky lighting situations that fool even the most sophisticated exposure meters.<<<<

Andy,
Naw just point the R8 at what the subject is and shoot as the camera will give you the right exposure 99.9999999999999999999 % of the time. :-)

Mess with what the meter sets the camera for and the chances are you'll screw-up the shot. ;-)

Or if you like, point the M7 similarly, never mind the exposure and concentrate on the subject being in best action position and sharp.... shoot! :-)
