Myself, I never tried. Too lazy probably. But evaluating the light is a good concept to interprate the returned value of the light cell.

By becoming somewhat profiecent in this by guess exposure system you will become much better at interperating those tricky lighting situations that fool even the most sophisticated exposure meters.
