Hallo Linda,
Here a small lesson English >>> Dutch photo terms:
Barrel shaped distortion = ton-vormige vertekening (als een ton dus (of een vat)
Cushion shaped distortion = kussen vormige vertekening (als een beddekussen)
like a pillow!!
Kind regards, met vriendelijke groet,
Fred Hess

Dear William and Chris,
What is in English a "barrel" distortion...
A lens distortion .... but what exactly (in Dutch "een vat")
Like a barrel of wine...
beer...
I tried to correct the perspective in nr/ 3
What about 5 ....?
Maybe Philippe can tell me what to use in photoshop...
Yours sincerely
Linda

Linda,
It is a lovely, comfortable flat and nicely photographed in flat, natural
light, which is the way I remember Amsterdam on many days. It is a very
appealing, well furnished home.
In the third and fourth pictures I notice a bit of barrel distortion toward
the right edges, and in the fifth and others, a bit of camera tilt. Love the
cat!
I am being "picky" about your pictures because I have the same problems
with my interior shots and have to work very hard to arrive at the high quality
that you have shown in your pictures.
I'll explain that word, which may be unfamiliar to you, because it could be
an American-only idiom: "picky" means "paying attention to small, insignificant
details." But they caught my eye.
All the best,
Bill
