A while back, Doug Herr offered:
a.k.a. Lodgepole Chipmunk - at least, I think so. Kinda hard to ID some
chipmunks w/o the skeleton in hand.

Both excellent shots, as always. Of the two, I much prefer the second one,
but still wish it had a little more 'space' to the left, so that the
chipmunk was "looking into" the photo.
Sill, knowing how hard it is to catch these critters, this is *not* a
serious complaint!
