[LRflex] Happy New Year

Dear Flexers,
I send my best wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity in the new year to you all.
Here is a picture, made from a small, moving, 12 passenger tour bus near Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland last spring. I could not resist the clouds and had to shoot.

M8 with 28mm @ f/2, wide open, ISO 320, 1/1000 sec. Cropped slightly and Fill Light added in Lightroom 2.2.
Because there was a lot of good scenery with few stops, I learned to choose a focal length (I had 28, 50 and 90mm lenses), open it up all the way, and shoot in aperture priority with Auto White Balance and ISO as low as I thought I could get away with. Not the best of all possible worlds but it worked under the circumstances. I made many shots with the 90mm through the windshield which turned into an art form all its own.
