[LRFlex] Re: Getting a grip...

Thanks, Bob, for your kind words. But credit (and inspiration) is due to Art
Tafil, Photographic tinkerer, extordinaire. :-)

After some suggestions, received privately, I've improved (I hope) the page
further, with colour coded schematics and a couple more illustrations. I think
the page is becoming quite complete. It will stay up and can now be found by
going to http://www3.telus.net/~telyt and then clicking on LINKS. It's
currently the top item. It may move, but it will stay on that page.

Meanwhile, I've **very** happy with the feel and responsiveness of the grip...
not to mention the 400 Telyt and 20D combination itself!

The price of Canon's extension cords is prohibitive... for what they offer,
they're higher priced than Leica! Talk about a "profit center"! If this page
saves one person the $80 difference in cost, by being able to use a headphone
extension cord, my time will have been well spent!

As for the ELPRO's... Up until now, I've been using a 60 to 62mm step up ring
and a Nikon 6T two-element achromat close-up lens on the 80~200/f4 Vario Elmar.
I suspect the Minolta achromat CU lens is very similar in quality to the Nikon.
The Nikon is good, but the ELPRO is noticeably superior.

I got lucky, and bought mine from Slobodan. He had them advertised last
week,in his "Friday for Sale" post. I've gotta hand it to him... the goods
were pristine and in the original boxes, even though he didn't advertise them
as such. I was most pleased with him and the deal... and I don't mind saying
so, publicly. Thanks, Slobodan!

Thanks again, Bob, for looking and responding.

Cheers!

David.
