[LRflex] Re: Feeling "Chuffed"

I seem to remember that chuffed has ornithological connotations - a male
bird chuffs its breast to impress females.
It also comes in another UK phrase, "As cold as a Penguin's chuff", the
chuff being the "nest" of feathers between a penguins feet for keeping
eggs or chicks warm.
