IMO, RF cameras make more sense in the film world than in the digital
world. For one thing, there are a lot of compact digitals with zoom lenses
and EVFs which would be more versatile and convenient than an RF.

One advantage would be the ability to use existing lenses on an Md, but
would that advantage be enough to warrant the expense?

I would be happier if the R10d would use a smaller form factor. The bulk
of the R8/9 is a definite turn-off for me. Then again, I spent most of my
35mm years with Olympus OM-1 & 4 cameras, and appreciate their ergonomics
even above the R5 (blasphemy, I know!). An R10d with a full-frame sensor
and the form factor of the R5 would be a serious temptation to me!

As long as we're dreaming!

Neil
