Indeed I do. I find Erwin's test rather disappointing. The ONE thing
that in my eyes sets off the DMR from the other DSLR I have used (Canon
20D and Fuji S2) is color rendition.
That is, in my eyes, the essential point. The DMR with Leica glass IMHO
is vastly superior in this field to the competitors I have used. Erwin
finds nothing more to say about this than

I am the vice-president of the Swiss Orchid Society and as such, I use
the camera to take pictures of orchids in various locations, such as
exhibitions and in nature. These pictures have to document as faithfully
as possible the colors of the flowers and the aesthetic ("artistic")
value of the pictures is not the prime concern.
With both the Canon and the Fuji, I have not succeeded to reproduce
colors faithfully. When putting the actual plant near the screen or the
paper print, the colors look very different. Both Canon and Fuji have
response curves that may be pleasing to some eyes (not mine), but do not
render correctly the original color of the subject.

Personally, I like the response of the DMR with Leica lenses very much.
Skin tones are rendered in a realistic and - to my perception -
beautiful way, while IMO the Canon rendering looks more like plastic.
Tastes are a very personal matter, and endless debates about the "Leica
Glow" have already been held. I prefer to speak of realistic color
rendition, and this - to my eyes - is the main argument for the DMR.
Other camera / lens combination may equal its sharpness, but the color
rendition of the combination DMR + Leica lenses right now is
unsurpassed.
Another camera whose color rendition is excellent is the Panasonic LZ20
with the Leica Vario Elmarit lens. Although only a P/S, IMHO it is
vastly superior in this field to the Canon and Fuji DSLR. I have never
used a Digilux 2 but there, too, I have seen some excellent results.
