Hi Mehrad!

Thanks for mentioning the firmware update to Version 1.2.  I'd heard 
it was coming, but had all but abandoned hope, assuming that all 
Leica's resources were being poured into the Digi-M.

It makes sense, however, as the Digi-M must work, right out of the 
box, if Leica is to make a success of it... and that they must. Much, 
if not all, of the firmware should be transferrable to the Digi-M, as 
the sensor is the same, even though the electronics are, I 
understand, to come from a different supplier.

I have just updated my firmware and am about to go out and see just 
what has improved.

For those who have not yet done so... V1.2 offers:

Improved image reproduction on the display.
Improved colour reproduction in the images.
Compatibility with 4 gig cards.
Improved Japanese menu language
Bug for saving of settings eliminated (ISO PUSH)
Optimizing of internal data processing.
