no sharpening or manipulation applied.  Looking at the slide I see a lot 
more detail than my scan, but not really much more than the D2 shot.

I gave this slide and a few more to a friend who has a 4000 DPI scanner.  My 
local camera store wanted $3 to do a 2000 dpi scan and she said $25 for a 
4000 DPI scan.  I thought that was rather steep.

I'll keep you informed about the new scans when I get them back.
