Hi Aram If I may intrude. you're right in a way, the DMR seems much truer to life. But, but the M8 is much closer to what we used to get on film, is it not? So we had re-created some sort of reality - you'll remember the early K25 I'm sure. Funny thing that perception can sometimes be so personal/deceptive/dated (cross out the items you don't like). In any case, these photographs - they're David's, very composed and balanced, and I don't consider them as shot, not at all - prove once more that the photogapher is the main component, the camera at best a second, and the film/back/sensor the slight, intangible thing that will make a difference, in the end only.. Both pictures are fantastic - the merits are David's - both camera have a personality and a signature, and that's a VERY good thing as the world would otherwise be so monotonous and dull. Don't you think so? Yours most respectfully Phileicangemix PS and witout any harm intended : the term realistic is still to be reviewed/reconsidered - the infrared M8 episode fro me is just yet another example of what "realistic" can/may/should mean: the physical reality includes IR - the photographer's would like to exclude it. That is the question. Aram Langhans wrote: >WOW, David. That is a huge difference in color rendition. Like fresh vs >out-dated slide film?
