[LRflex] Re: CIS printing

Hi.
 
I have been using the R1400 with Epson Ink (buy direct from Epson via Internet) 
and it produces great prints.
 
Uses 6 Ink cartridges.  I have the printing preferences on Best Photo, pick the 
paper you are using and size, check on Photo Enhance and then print.
 
I have printed a few which are 13" x 19" and they have come out nice.  Happy 
with mine.
 
Have not tried any other brands of ink, only Epson.  I have used the 
maintenance, Head Cleaning and Nozzle Check a few times when I get something 
strange (usually after I change ink cartridges) and it has always fixed the 
problem.

Does anyone here have any experience with CIS with Epson printers, specifically 
the R1800.  It is a pigment ink system.  I am almost convinced, after just 
buying a set of 8 cartridges, to give it a try.  What brands of ink or 
apparatus do you use?  Any problems?  Any advantages aside from the obvious of 
cost?
