Of course it wouldn't rule out the sensor. This effect, I find out,
is known to Leica and all other digital makers. The question now, is
.... does the problem affect *all* 80~200/4 Varios. Erwin Puts
implies it does, but only in rare circumstances. I seem to find
these "rare" circumstances with regularity!
It does not happen with film, as film is much less reflective than a
digi sensor.
