G'mornin' Doug!

We grow, as photographers, by finding someone who does the style of photography that we like or want to do, at a very high level of quality, and then try to emulate him. Note the word 'emulate' rather than 'copy'. The idea is not to duplicate this unknowing mentor's work, but to use that individual's work as yardstick, by which to measure our own efforts.

For many of us, Ted Grant is such a person.

For the wildlife (and particularly bird) photographers amongst us, you set the standard.

But, dammit, Doug! Do you have to set the bar so bloody high?

Your Black Phoebe is a delight, as always. Thanks for sharing. :-)
