[LRFlex] Re: Berlin 28.10.2004 - New Pictures

Thanks Art,
I like it too, although I can't really get my head around the fact that it is,
although it isn't, upside down. If you see what I mean.

I'm still not sure what the distances are when taking a shot like this.
Is the reflection twice the distance ? Do I have to get enough depth of field to take both
the surrounding bit of sidewalk (pavement) and the reflection. What happens to auto focus
on a shot like this ? does it focus on the water surface ? or does the phase recognition system work out that the reflection is coherent enough to be a point of focus?

I got round it by stopping down to f22

Doug,
I posted a comment on the site, but to repeat, I like the # 12 of 28, the partial church reflection in the puddle.
I like the "fractal" quality of the jagged/broken reflection, but again, you have to realize that I'm a cockeyed type of person anyway, ( I think it may be due to all of the high-G maneuvers that I did during mig cap operations in Viet-Nam, while flying F4 Phantoms in the Marine Corps. Too much blood starvation to my brain!!
