Art,
now that is an idea - a polarising filter on the front end of my 6x6 slide
projector and a cardboard cone as a snoot. All sorts of ideas are now brewing, I
seem to remember something about polarised light and stress patterns, was it
filters on light source and camera?
So far I've found that the daylight slide viewing plate I use is quite a useful
soft light source.
cheers

Doug,
All great shots.
I've used hot lights in the past, with polarizing filter gels over them
when doing glass, but I never shot anything with that type of detail
before. I don't know if polarized light would help or not.
