I think that would be a given, under any circumstance.

It is, I believe, a digital problem, and can be cured with software.
Silkypix, my preference to develop RAW data, has a Chromatic Aberration
fix built in, but you have to send them money, for that part to work.
That, I did, today... but it will be 2 to 4 days before they send me the
"key", to unlock the extra features. I'll test it out, and let you
know. There are other programs for that, and I have not idea what's best.

That's what I try to do. My observation is that despite Ted's urgings
to not fiddle with anything digital; is that it's worth the effort,
given the noise levels inherent in the DMR's native ISO 1600 mode... and
ISO 3200 it doesn't have, at all! Personally, I'll likely never use
more than ISO 1600, but that speed is very handy, even on bright days,
when using the Telyt 400/f6.8 and 2x converter. It allows one to keep
the shutter speeds up, when shooting critters in the shade!
Also, in keeping with Ted's comments about time spent in front of the
'puter screen, using PS to adjust exposure is a time consuming job...
but correcting it in Silkypix is a breeze.. you just dial in +2 stops
(or whatever) and it's done. No es problema!
Certainly, no matter whether you feel it's better/worse than Canon, it
certainly is the better way to go, for high ISO's, with the DM-R!

Thanks for letting me know! They are now going, going, going.... gone!
