You are resourceful, but I wouldn't want to carry that Nikon to bellows to R lens kit around in the woods... sounds good for macro though.

That's the reason that I basically use Leica glass. I'm trying to cobble-up some way of mounting Leica R glass on my Nikons. Now I'm relegated to M or Viso Heads either on my customized M-to-T-Mount adapter, using a short focussing mount, or else the heads on a M/Viso Bellows 2. I actually prefer the bellows route, because I can get past infinity focus AND better than 1:1 macro.
When I do macro, I use TTL ringflash & get to use Nikon's unerring matrix balance fill flash!!
