Hello to All, Just a small postcard from a very very old cementery with a nice sign: <http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire05.jpg>http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire05.jpg Here is an alternate, more famous cementery, <http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire03.jpg>http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire03.jpgSome tourists, looking for shade at the foot of these big tumbs (very strange colors, in my eye)<http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire04.jpg>http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/lecaire2008/LeCaire04.jpg Provia & Nikon V ED, either summicron 35 or vario Elmar 80-200.Comments are welcome, especially for the strange colors, which could be the control of the scanner that does this, I cannot identify :(
--- Good Mornin' Xavier!I like all three... although my favourite is 03, because the buggy gives the photo scale, while the buggy's splash of colour lifts it out of the sea of sand. I love this one!
However, it seems that all three have a slight "list" to the right ... that you're right hand was lower than your left... just a wee bit. Easily corrected in Corel, once scanned. (Just be careful that Ted doesn't spot that!!!!! ;-) )
My impression on the colour in 04 is not that the colour is wrong, but that the exposure is ... a wee bit too dark. Try to lighten it slightly and reduce the contrast a wee bit. It should improve.
Were these originally shot as slides, or negs? With your R7, I'm sure, but which lenses? Enquiring minds want to know!
