All:
For those who found the earlier incarnations of the "Brief History of Film
and Photography", I just want to say that Version 5.9, the 'close to final'
revision, is now on-line.
I wish to thank Douglas Sharp, of Hannover, for his invaluable assistance
in ideas, research and correcting my klutzy typing. :)
With Douglass' help, the history has grown to 20 typewritten pages and
covers virtually all significant developments in film and the seminal
cameras, both still and cinema; from 1727 to date.
As before, the list can be found by going to:
http://www.horizon.bc.ca/~dnr and clicking on "A Brief History" link - on
the left.
Thanks for looking. :)
And thank you, Douglas, once again, for all your help! :)
David.
