Either way I will get there and get processed.

I understand the films from Europe should be send to CH, not directly to KS.

You can however, send it to Swizterland, but they only forward it to Kansas
City, so you might as well send it directly.

OT

According to Kodak site, European customers should send their KODACHROME to
Switzerland.

Here is the link:

actually no choice. yes, the BMW is a motorcycle. though i usually think of it
as a family member. so much time together without any problem!

Here is a link to the processing lab in Kansas city.  That BMW I am assuming it
is a motorcycle?  I hear that the Fujichrome 50 is quite good but I have not
had a chance to use it.  I am going to New Orleans and Texas in two weeks and
if the bus goes through Chicago I will buy some at Calumet Camera.  A great
store.  I have been there before and the have a whole wall of fridges just
dedicated to storing and selling film.  I usually stock up when I get there, or
else I will order some in bulk on line when I return.  Unfortunately, there
used to be a Kodachrome processing plant in Toronto(near where I live) that
also closed.  The closest one to you would have been in Switzerland, but they
closed that one also.  So there is really no choice.

joachim,
thanks for the news about the kodachrome in the email. just a way to wait
lighter :-) italy is far away from kansas city!
yes, the 25 asa was really great. how i miss those times. in 1983 during my
coast to coast and back trip driving my BMW R100T (i still use it) i shot 15
kodachrome rolls. 10 of them were 25 and 5 were 200 asa (if i correctly
remember).

I just bought 4 rolls of Kodachrome 64 as well.  I remember the 25 the best
film ever made in my humble opinion.  Plus, now you have to send it to Kansas
city for processing, however, there is something about the anticipation of
getting the developed slides in the mail.  Then seeing them is another story
entirely.

Hopefully, the price will come down a bit and I can buy a 35mm f2 or even
better 1.4 in the near future to complete my outfit.

i use an R4s since 1984 with 35 curtagon, 60 macro elmarit and 180 apo-telyt. i
concur that outfit will outlive me and maybe will get higher value from now on.
i do not think to sell it in any way and, strange enough, my wife agree... we
alll love Leica (she use a leica mini beside a nikon coolpix)

btw: i have 9 kodachrome 64 asa in the freezer. its time to give it a try!

Same for me. I have a R6 and R8 with loads of  lenses. I'm pretty sure
at least the R6 will outlive me.

I recently had DAG CLA my de-panda'ed silver chrome Leicaflex SL.  For
sensory feedback it's easily my favorite camera.  I have more SL bodies
than I need now but I'd have a hard time parting with any of them.  As long
as there's film and either DAG or Sherry Krauter I'll be using a Leica
reflex, R10 or no.
