Hi David,
WOW!!!!!!!!! A wonderful and powerful photograph of this incredible
animal. Good on you! Not only for taking the picture but braving the
winter conditions as well!
I've done many an assignment in the National Parks of Canada and
photographed all kinds of these critters in varying shapes and
sizes. But in all honesty, I've never had the good fortune to
"shoot" photographically speaking! Such a magnificent animal. Very
nice catch light in the eye!
I don't think it would be a good idea to be anywhere near this
fellow during "rutting" season or one might be wearing a great rack
of horns where it really hurts!
Cheers,
ted
Many thanks, Ted, for taking the time to look.., and for your comment. :-)
He looks a bit menacing, in the photo, but was, in fact, merely
pawing for food ... you can see some snow spraying up, just in front
of the top of his rear right leg.
Still, I suspect you're right ... you wouldn't want to be in front of
his charge!
Thanks, again!
Cheers!
