[LRFlex] A Gallery of our own.... not.

Some time ago, in a private email, Elliot Purutz suggested I approach Patrick Kelly, about hosting a gallery for the LRFlex group. After all, he presently hosts the Leica-Gallery and the Rollei-gallery, and we both felt he might be interested in a related one.

Initially he was very enthusiastic and quickly registered the lrflex.net domain. Over the fall, for reasons which are solely his own, his enthusiasm waned.

This evening, I received the following message:


Sorry, I think I'm not going to help out.

Sorry I didn't reply to your last message.

I'd be really curious to hear if you find another solution.

Again, sorry for being unresponsive.


So, it appears that the prospect of having our own gallery is rapidly fading, at least for now.

I am going to try to obtain ownership of lrflex.net domain from Patrick, but I won't be able to do anything with it, at least not for a while, as I must buy a new house and move towns within the next 8 weeks. No time to set anything up. Where it will go, after that, I do not know.
