[LRflex] 6 ferry pano

Hi David,
On the LUG a member suggested that I cut down the trees to improve the view. Unfortunately they are on a neighbour's property and If they were on mine, well you know the tree hugger mentality on the "Wet" Coast. Anyway I have all summer to work on positioning the ferries - they go by every second hour. I agree about a pano of the little bridge between North and South Pender - also Poet's Cove and Roes Point are rich with possibilities. And there are the eagles and hummingbirds too but I'm not really set up for these equipment wise. Yes, the pano was taken with the M8 and the 135 Elmar vertically. The other combo I am working with is the 180 Telyt and the D700 - also vertically.
Bests to Rose,
Cheers
Howard

There seem to be ferries in my life whether in Hong Kong or Canada.
Here is a six panel pano taken with the M8 and the 135 Elmar - on a
tripod of course - taken this morning and developed in old slow CS2.
This is a better pano than the one I posted yesterday. By the end of
the summer I will have this scene down to a science if not an art!

Good Mornin' Howard!

I must agree with Doug ... it would be nice if the ferry were not
repeatedly bisected by the trees. OTOH, it IS a beautiful shot ...
of course, on Pender it's hard not to get a beautiful shot of just
about anywhere.

Strikes me that a pano of the bridge which crosses from North Pender
to South Pender might make an interesting subject for a pano.

Question: It would appear that you are shooting verticals with the
M8. Am I right?

Say "Hi" to Esther, from Rose and I.

Cheers!
