See how I rest my left hand on the lens in the portrait? That's one
trick to a sharp shot, especially with a tripod. I do that especially
with the 400mm Telyt - there's no IS to help with shake.
The other trick I use with the Telyt is a monopod. Lean yourself
against some vertical support to minimize horizontal shaking, and the
monopod takes care of vertical shake.

Yeah, it's the 400mm f/4 DO IS. Sometimes I use an EF 1.4X II converter.
Or the Leitz 400mm f/6.8 Telyt. Both are good setups for squirrel nuts...
