Hi Steve,
This is supposed to be a day of rest and you throw us a challenge requiring
all our mental visual editing prowess! Way to go pal! :-)
Actually I like all three because each tells it's own story.

This has a kind of comfort zone nice photograph with a slight touch of owner
appreciation of dog... like friends. Like not a word need to be spoken,
there's this nice feeling for each other just sitting there.

This one is the "what are they looking at action mode?" That caught both of
their attention. Whatever it is, but they are both fixed on the same thing.

As I said with the first photograph "like friends only more so. However
this one is the kind of "love feelings" if you like, between owner and
animal that only those who have pets can really understand the emotion here.
Non-owners, I don't think, are not as inclined to give such a warm hearted
snuggle to an animal as we see here.
It's a tough call to pick the favourite in these, simply because there's
something completely different and heart warming in each with it's own
message. So I've gone back and forth several times, that just made the final
selection tougher. :-)
But I'm going with number 2 maybe becasue I like the "action of their eyes
and heads in the same direction." This is a team because whatever it is,
it's of equal interest to both. I looked again and nearly changed my mind
to #1.... Nope, 2 it is and because of the eye - attention aspect as a pair!
cheers,
ted
