I am a left eyed shooter also. I think a lot of people are. I agree it is
more steady and it creates wet spots on the back of the camera except in
winter where it creates frost. ;-) I think Tom Abrahamsson is a left
eyed shooter too. That's why he created the rapidwinder. :-)

Thing is I'm left eyed, that's something you hardly ever see in the
instructions either.
I'm pretty sure that left eyed shooting is a lot steadier due to
bridging the camera across your nose, only problem
is the wet patch on the back of the camera, absolutely deadly for the
old Contax "leather".
Is left-eyedness common ?
