Steve it's a nice picture? Exposure? I don't have any real problem with it, but
it's the kind of picture to use in a series of photographs rather than a single
image.
Because if used in this concept as a single photograph it can very easily
become ... "gee this guy missed the focus point and why are they just looking
in the camera?" Kind of picture.
You see the problem with this as shown is, it looks like a snap shot of a
couple looking in the camera and the male is slightly out of focus. Technically
not correct.:-(
We as viewers do not have any visual relationship to connect us with the child
Isabella even though the couple are her parents. You know that and have dealt
with them as well felt the emotions regarding the child.
We on the other hand only see this photograph of a couple, Isabella's parents.
Without the emotions you have experienced with them and the child. This isn't
an easy thing to illustrate on the screen and works usually in a multi-photo
series that produces a small feature about Isabella.
It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the photo, but you created a
question with the photograph by saying.... "Isabella's parents" without showing
Isabella. And I think that's more the problem with this picture than anything
else. Including the father slightly out of focus.
