Hi Sonny,
Both very nice photographs. I know saying "nice" doesn't say why they're
nice.. ;-)

 

OK here's why:

The warm smiling expression is great and communicating directly to the
viewer. Like what else could one say to him even as a complete stranger but.
"Good fishing luck!"

 

The second the light is absolutely beautiful highlighting his profile. Of
the two, even tho both are wonderful people pictures. My preference is the
second photo because the gorgeous light! Love it! :-)  You also changed your
angle enough to get away from the bright sky highlights on top of his hat
and other broken up areas of the skyline in picture one.
