canon 5D and leica R lens

Just wondering here on a Sunday morning... for a Canon 20 D owner who uses leica R glass, how sensible is it to trade up to a Canon 5D especially for leica R glass, but also for Canon glass, especially L glass?


Aiming this simple question at people who may have actually used these cameras, and have some experience with them...

I'm interested primarily in image quality, though ease of use and ease of focus are also very important...


( a very serious question, though I feel funny asking it ... my recent shooting has primarily been with a leica M3 and old M glass )....
