RE: book cover

I like the muted shadows and increased saturation one gets with an
overcast afternoon as long as you can keep the sky pretty much out of
the picture (which is exactly what you did). Both Steve Barbour and I
live in climates where blinding sunlight is often the source of light.
I've gotten to the point that I don't even venture outside when it is
sunny, cool, dry, and not a cloud in the sky.

Thanks Jeff, I had a mental picture of what and where I wanted to shoot
for the cover. I waited for the leaves to fall and for an overcast day.
But I got what I wanted and Grace is happy and that is what counts.
Keep those customers happy. Plus I like my meals once in a while. ;-)

I really like that image. Lots of angles and nice autumn colors. I wish
our autumns looked that way down here. I drove around for 3 hours this
morning looking for something to shoot, and came back empty handed.

Hi all,
Well finally after many years of prodding, my wife finally got her
book done and published. I shot the cover photos because I work cheap
for certain people. ;-) But she, being the artist, modified my photo
in PS to suit her artistic tastes. Have a look at
