Subject: big time cycle racing California...
The Amgen Tour of California 2007, is occurring this week. I was at the stage two sprint final in downtown Sacramento...around the Capitol and the park, completing more that 100 miles of racing on that day.
First, the front of the peleton last lap...the eventual winner JJ Haedo is seen in fifth place.

The race is just over, and JJ Haedo is on the left, has a smile on his face...

Haedo has won three stages of the Tour of California (two last year)... he's from Argentina and rides for CSC, the top cycle team in the world right now.... 

Many teams here are headed to the Tour de France, later this year...
