I dare not ask what a "custom bait" is made of :-)
In many cases wood or plastic... I suspect that these baits can be
ordered in several colors and /or hook combinations that may not be
stock catalog items.
Or since Yamamoto is a successful bass tournament fisherman the fact
that he designs and then makes and sells these plugs, spinners and
spoons makes then 'custom"
Terribly tedious (ans serious) answer, but I am one frustrated
fisherman, still on crutches. Missed some of the best fall and spring
runs of salmon here in years!
