Hi Doug,
Damn yer good!!!! :-)  I could never get the critter to sit still long
enough to get a "portrait" like this.

I just realized you are using the f4.0 280 and not the f 2.8 280 that I have
since 1984. Do I assume the f 4.0 is lighter for work in the bush?

And I'll also assume the 1.4 & 2X extenders work equally as well with it as
they do on the 2.8? Or do you use either with it?
