You sing it...

This is the season for sing-it-yourself. You can sing Handel's Messiah with a professional director and orchestra at five or six different venues around the San Francisco Bay Area every December. I chose San Jose's California Theater and the San Jose Symphonic Choir's director Leroy Kromm to get into the spirit.

There are places where M-series Leicas do the job unobtrusively and better than anything else. Here's Kromm admonishing us, wide-open at f/2.8 with the 90mm Tele-Elmarit and Fuji NPZ film at ISO 800 in a Leica M7:

For the next two, I used the 135mm APO-Telyt at f/3.4.
Kromm explained his choice of the next movement and a little history. He clearly enjoys his work:

And we sang so well in places, we made him smile again:

This final image isn't tack-sharp (I moved at 1/45 second), but Kromm's expression comes through.

All comments welcome.
