All:
At the Kamloops Wildlife Park, the other day, along with Qaanik, was
Xeximene (pronounced haw-keh-mah-na) and is, I am told, Chinese for "Owl".
Xeximene picked a fight with a car ... and lost. Thus, he has only
one eye and would be unable to survive in the wild. So, he is now a
Zoo owl and doing just fine, thank you.
Still, his one eye-edness, gives him a wee bit of an unusual look,
but he's absolutely fascinating, in his own way.
He can be seen by going to: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/ and then
clicking on "featured photo", on the left side of your screen.
Comments, good or bad, always appreciated.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers!
