RE: Warsaw ghetto commemoration in Copenhagen last Sunday

Hi .. Thanks for taking and posting the photos. A dear friend of mine
lost some relatives in the ghetto, in a situation that was vividly
described in a scene in The Pianist. I try not to think of such things,
but it's good to be reminded of them every now and then.
For anyone interested, I'd highly recommend the book, "In the Warsaw
Ghetto: Summer 1941" It's a compilation of photos made by a German soldier
that were unknown for about 50 years, when the film was finally discovered
and processed. The photos are accompanied by text taken from diaries and
letters of the Jewish population.
