Thanks for your enthusiastic review... but, to be honest, I'm not a 'birder' at all. I have virtually no interest in them, other than many are cute to look at! I don't know, nor wish to know, their diets, or mating habits.

I find them fascinating as subjects... and a true challenge to one's skills.

As for Costa Rica... it was a family holiday, not a birding or photographic expedition. Because of that, I left the 400 Telyt & monopod at home, not wanting to make it into one. Mind you, having seen what bird life is there, I won't make that mistake, again!
