When I was in high school (100 yrs ago) I shot on the small bore rifle team
and we were barred from being on the team if you drank coffee, cokes, tea or
any form of caffeine stimulant.  We learned to slow our heartbeat to 35-40
bpm and shoot between heartbeats. You lost the ability to slow your
heartbeat down if you took caffeine. I suspect, Doug, that, whether you
realize it or not, you are shooting between heartbeats.
