Thanks, Bob. That sounds good, and since I'm not photographing for a
hypercritical market (walking around happy snaps is it, really), I probably
won't notice the last full measure that CO might return over LR2. I suspect
that the custom profiles (if well done) might give as good a conversion as CO,
and as you say, the resident LR2 profiles may do for me.
Since my output isn't prodigious, I haven't thought that the DAM capabilities
of LR2 were necessary, but who knows what the future will bring? LR2 is looking
more and more necessary! ;-)

Hi Roger.
I do use LR2 to manage my raw files, even my scans which are raw files from
Vuescan. For the M8 (and for my Canon) I've created custom profiles that are
great. It's fairly simple to do; you just need one of those Gretag color
checker cards and some free software from Adobe. Many people I know, however,
are satisfied with the raw conversion profiles that come with LR2.
I've never used CO so I can't compare; just happy with my current workflow.
