Naturally, we took them to Tunkwa Lake, where I do much of my photography. We saw the offspring http://www.telyt.50megs.com/Grebe.htm of an albinistic Red Necked Grebe and his/her 'normal" mate that I had photographed last year. Ted complained "that #@%&* grey bird won't go the way I want!" After similar troubles with a Coot, Ted decided that he much preferred shooting the Olympics... "at least the runners all go in the same direction and you know where they'll be!" And, he allowed, Doug Herr and myself were in no danger from him! :-)

The next day, we were out at the mine, when Ted showed us the proper use of a Gitzo monopod. http://www.telyt.50megs.com/Gitzo.htm

Past the mine, in pursuit of wild horses (which we found), we came across a Coyote.... but you have to guess what part Ted played in this shot... http://www.telyt.50megs.com/coyote.htm :-)
