Strange weather from a top floor apartment

No planes this time - just some, IMO, interesting cloud and weather observations.

A typical weather situation in Whitby, a sea fret, happens when the temperature differential between the land and sea is particularly large.
John Carpenter did it too - but Whitby is only famous for vampires and gothics, not plague ridden zombies.
