St. Joseph's Hill allows dogs on trails, so we usually end up there for
our Sunday evening hike. It's also a good 500 foot or so climb in a
couple miles. I had a new lens to try out too, a 25mm f/2.8 Biogon T* ZM.
Sometimes smog and haze are a good thing. Today's light reminded me of
old Japanese woodcuts of receding mountain ranges silhouetted in the sky:

There's a solo tree near the summit that always makes me feel I need to
do something with it:

I was a little concerned about the 25mm's flare resistance, so I shot
this into the sun to check it. Yes, the sun is burned out, but flare is
minimal:

St. Joseph's is also a popular climb for bicyclists:

And there was a small memorial to a cyclist who wasn't careful enough:

It was a nice day in the mountains

All with Leica M8.
All comments welcome.
