Excellent use of LTM's there Alex. The M8 images are not too bad either :).

Yep - screw-mounts are really fun to use. You have to think a little more, but once you're in the LTM groove, it's no problem. I had lots of elderly German gents coming up to me at Photokina and sighing with nostalgia. Just as well I speak German fluently after a few beers.... :-)

As to the M8, I would have liked to have used it for much longer to explore its full capabilities. It was a very dull day, and some of the images were a trifle flat as a result. I could have tweaked this in the software, but decided not to as I wasn't quite sure what I was going to get. Chimping doesn't really help..

Always enjoy your Summarex images, since I don't own one myself :(

That is one great lens - softish wide open, but a killer by the time you get to around f5.6.

OT - it is true Cork may get more direct flights from the US?

I hope so - there has been the odd charter, and we've even had a 747 in once or twice.

Best

Alex
