Your excellent set of images from Wetzlar make me wish I'd been there. Last year I had a wedding to shoot when LHSA was just up the road in San Francisco. I'll make an LHSA meeting one of these days...

David Young looks as enthusiastic as ever - he has to be loving his new location in Alberta. (Not that Victoria B.C. was bad...)

And Wetzlar looks like a charming place. I'm amazed at the results from your Summarit - I've retired mine in favor of a '60s vintage Summilux and an occasional Noctilux.

It would have been fun to catch up with old friend Bill Rosauer - we went to school together and worked part-time in the same camera store.

How did you like the handling and feel of the M8? Did you wish for a 75mm to use on it?

They were taken with everything from a 70 year-old LTM up to the new M8. IMHO those old Leicas and lenses hold up pretty well.......
