Alicante must be your reward for having endured employment stations in colder
parts of Europe and the UK, Nathan. I hope that you have a long time there, but
it's too much excitement for an old man like me. I'm on the verge of a nervous
breakdown just from your pictures! ;-)
Though we have a pleasant climate here in the landlocked American southwest,
the 'scenery' here is a bit different. Oh well, when the San Andreas fault lets
go and California begins moving up toward Washington state, we'll then have
beachfront property and that'll improve the 'scenery'.

One of the many social clubs subsidized by our office is called Oasis, and they
arrange various activities for employees and their families during the summer.
Yesterday I took part in one such activity, a trip to the nearby island of
Tabarca on a catamaran, with opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, lunch,
cold beer, and - of course - taking pictures! A little selection can be found
here:

As always, comments and critique are welcome and appreciated.
